In 2024, despite pressure from state authorities and a shrinking space for human rights activities, the Coalition of Civil Society Against Torture and Impunity in Tajikistan achieved significant progress. The increase in prosecutorial inspections, the criminal prosecution of perpetrators, expanded access to closed institutions, and comprehensive support for victims are key outcomes that underscore the effectiveness of the Coalition’s work under restrictive conditions.
